FAC has a 16 year history of holding an outdoor carols by candlelight event for the region. Figtree Community Carols is held on the sporting fields behind Figtree High School (next to Figtree Anglican Church). 

The evening starts at 5:30pm with carnival rides and activities for the children and continues into the night with entertainment by high profile entertainer, Colin Buchanan and singing of contemporary Christmas carols. The night concludes at 9:30pm with a spectacular fireworks display.
