PASTORAL CARE MINISTRY

At FAC we are committed to caring for the ‘whole person’ including their spiritual, emotional and physical needs

A dedicated team of workers heads up our Pastoral Care ministry. Our desire is to see everyone at FAC genuinely loved, cared for and supported. We endorse involvement in Growth Groups to foster and develop a sense of belonging and as an ongoing source of support and encouragement.

Caring in times of need…

There are times in life when a few prepared meals, some help with housework, childcare, transport or accommodation can be a great blessing. Extra help and support is available for those who have been in hospital, had a baby, are in need of bed rest or for various reasons are facing a crisis.

Caring by praying…

For encouragement, comfort or direction we offer a confidential listening ear, prayer support and counselling from our Pastoral Care Team. Where professional counselling is required, we are able to refer people to suitable organisations for specialised care.

Caring by preparing…

“Prepare’ – is our pre-marriage course and this is offered as an integral component of marriage preparation for engaged couples.

Caring by going…

Visitation in nursing homes, hospitals and homes to those who are elderly or unwell provide a vital link.
