Mothers' Union
Mothers' Union (MU), a worldwide fellowship of over 3.7 million members, focuses on evangelism, spiritual nurture, and the blessing of families and communities; the quality of family life. All Saints Figtree MU (now Figtree Anglican) was formed at our Mt Kembla Church in 1935, making 2010 our 75th Anniversary celebration!
MU meets at FAC on the 1st Wednesday of each month, starting 10:30am. Members meet to pray, study the Scriptures and reach out with compassionate care.
One way is through visiting new mums at Figtree Private Hospital, offering them a copy of Luke's Gospel, prayer leaflet and a small hand-made gift to ‘welcome’ their baby. MU's prayer ministry embraces not only local concerns but upholds churches around the world.
