MANNA VISION
A place to belong, providing food, friendship and hope for the future.
Manna Ministries commenced with Manna House in May 2002, as a result of a vision to reach the marginalised in the Illawarra for Jesus.
Manna is a unique opportunity for the community of FAC to share the love of Christ every Thursday evening around a meal. Those who serve at Manna do it with a passion and a commitment that offers those we connect with from the community, a future in the context of a close knit Christian community.
MANNA HOUSE operates out of FAC Thursday evenings, 5-7pm. People from the community access Manna House through their own transport or via a free shuttle bus provided by FAC to and from Unanderra train station.
In 2004, Manna Ministries purchased a mobile van in order to ‘go to the needy, rather than the needy come to the ministry’. The MANNA VAN currently goes out Thursday evenings, 5-7pm, connecting with people and serving meals from the van at the Warrawong Community Centre.
‘Defend the cause of the weak and fatherless; maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed.’ Psalm 82:3
