Youth Street Team

STREET TEAMS is a youth-driven initiative to love the people in the surrounding community in practical ways. Our next activity is a combined Youth & Children's day in Farmborough Heights.

Schedule - Saturday, 9 April
Meet at the park behind Mianga Cres & beside Waples Rd (Farmborough Heights)
9am - breakfast & prayer
10am - head off to a designated street in Farmborough to practically love the people through gardening, cleaning, mowing, etc.
1pm - KZone has organised a FREE BBQ lunch and games back in the park, for KZone families and others in the area - join together for an afternoon of fun with KZone leaders and the Street Team youth and young adults.
3pm - pack up!

If you're keen to be a part of this there are a few ways you can help:

  • Pray expecting God to do a really great work and to be drawing people to Him through love
  • Turn up at the park anytime between 9am and 3pm to help with Street Teams (gardening, etc) or the festival part in the park. If you are just keen to turn up and connect with parents or kids, that’s gold!
  • Baking eg cookies allows the Street Teams to give out packages of goodies they meet (remember to take into account anything baked is to be nut free)

daniel.jones@figtreeanglican.org.au if you can help!

Why Street Teams? FAC has a growing connection in Farmborough Heights through our relationship with Farmborough Road Public School, Brianne Eastman, KZone and Youth Group. This is simply a great opportunity to get to know some of the locals and love them – an important step in sharing Jesus with the families who lie on the fringe of FAC.
