Ian Barnett

SENIOR MINISTER

Ian has been in full time ministry since 1995, with his first appointment, Assistant Minister here at FAC. In 1997 he was appointed Senior Minister of Shellharbour Anglican Church which included two sites; one located in the historic town of Shellharbour and the other a new church plant in the centre of the city. During his time at Shellharbour, God used Ian’s gifts of leadership and evangelism to grow both churches numerically, with many people coming to faith. In 2004 Ian became the Evangelism Director at Castle Hill Anglican church where in this specialised role, he was responsible for the training and releasing of people into evangelism.

In 2008, Ian was appointed the Senior Minister here at FAC. He is responsible for leading, casting vision and putting into place under God, strategies to see our church increase its impact both locally and globally for the Kingdom of God.

Ian is married to Rhonda. They have 3 children; Emma who is currently in her final year of high school and 2 married sons Luke and James (and 1 beautiful granddaughter, Isabella).
